They are actual surveillance camera shells that lack the expensive electronics inside while still providing the deterrent of a security camera at a fraction of the cost! And with a dome "camera", the criminal does not know which direction the "camera" is pointing. Rather than having four or five regular cameras to secure an area, one dome camera can give the illusion that an entire area is under surveillance. This unit is ideal for a retail store, factory, business, school, hotel or warehouse.
